How Long Do You Wait for Hot Water

Most of us have the same routine each day. Whether it’s a shower in the morning, or dishes in the evening, at some point, you probably wait for hot water.

Consider this: most faucets/shower heads use approximately 2.5 gallons per minute of water. If the faucet runs for 3 minutes before it is used, that’s 7 or 8 gallons of water each time. Once per day, every day, for a year can add up to 2500 gallons or more of water wasted.

What’s worse: if the kitchen sink is the culprit, most of us use the hot water there 3 or 4 times a day, that could be 10’s of thousands of gallons of water.

Now, you can stop wasting water by using a catch basin or a bucket to capture that water and use it for plants or some other use. And while many of us will commit to doing something like this, it’s usually a commitment we’re simply not able to keep.

Fortunately, there is a nifty product that can greatly reduce the wasted water at your hot water outlet(s). We have a recirculation system that is able to be added to just about any home and will reduce hot water wait times to 30 seconds or less.

Give us a call today, and one of our friendly Austin or Marble Falls plumbers will be come out for a free assessment, to see if this solution to your hot water wait can be over!
